| Debbie, Kent, Paul & Max all welcome you to the Legend Band Website! It could be said the Legend Band has enjoyed more years of entertaining and performing than most bands in our area....close to 30 years now. For those of you who don't know us, here is a brief history on the band, as well as some of the venues we have performed....... The Legend Band was formed by Kent and Debbie Weagei of Colorado Springs around 1983. They have performed and played in the area since then, and have been a great influence and force in the music scene here. There are also very few Country/Western musicians in town who don't know of the Legend Band...and have not become great friends. Many of these friends/musicians at one time or another have played with or come up on stage just to jam with the band, which is a credit to what a great musical community we have here in Colorado Springs. Over the years, the band has played consistently and continues to deliver great performances and fun for everyone. If you need a great band for your special event, wedding, party, or dance, give us a call! Won battle of the bands 1995 Played Denver Chatfield Park Balloon Festival Performed with upcoming star Candice Crane at Albuquerque Balloon Festival Has performed at the Balloon Glow in Colorado Springs 3 years in a row now. Won music awards in 2001 for... Band of the Year Instrumental of the Year Debbie's original song "Come Back To Me" played on KCS Debbie meets Jim Ed Brown and auditions for You Can Be A Star, and was asked to try out a second time by Mike Johnson, steel guitar player for Bill Anderson Opened for Blackhawk in Vail, Colorado & in Fort Collins, Colorado Opened twice for Michael Martin Murphy Opened twice for the Colorado Springs Symphony In The Park Opened for Yankee Grey @ Memorial Park |
